Sex Counseling by Pelvic Physical Therapists

Booking a virtual 1:1 session with a sex counselor offers a personalized and confidential opportunity to explore intimate concerns, address relationship dynamics, and gain tailored strategies for enhancing sexual well-being in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment.

Sex counseling does not include an in-person physical exam and is not sex therapy (mental health). Instead, sex counseling is an opportunity to connect with a pelvic physical therapy professional who is proficient in sex education, physical impairments, and counseling to help you address a sexual challenge you are facing. Sex counseling is excellent for answering sex-related questions, and helps you achieve goals related to your sexual function. 

Examples of clients who have benefited from sex counseling are: 

- individuals returning to intimacy after surgery or injury

- those returning to sexual activity postpartum 

- any person who experiences pelvic pain or low back pain during sexual activity

- those in need of problem solving sexual function following spinal cord injury or stroke

All appointment types are 60 minutes.

Assessment: $187

Follow up: $150

Packages:

Assessment + 1 follow up: $305 (save 10%)

Assessment + 2 follow ups: $413 (save 15%)

Assessment + 5 follow ups: $749 (save 20%)

Cancellation Policy/Fee: A fee of $50 will be charged for any no-show or cancellation that occurs less than 24 hours in advance. No exceptions.
